This guide provides a step-by-step procedure for importing a test from LEMR Server and downloading it into Zedmed Clinical.
Open LEMR Server from the desktop icon or Start Menu. A table of unimported test information will appear.
This will provide you with a list of tests that will need to be imported into each patient's file. Please do not click on the Log out or download buttons in this window. You can, however, keep this window open for your reference while you import each file.
Clicking Refresh after importing the tests into the patient's file will update the list to show only those files that have not been imported/downloaded yet.
1. Open the patient you'd like to import tests for in Zedmed Clinical.
2. Click on the LEMR icon with the patient's name next to it. The following widget will appear.
Then select the type of test you'd like to import - ECG (Electrocardiogram), Spirometry, ABPM (includes ABI).
3. If the test can link to the patient automatically, the import will occur and you will receive an onscreen notification.
If you see the Starting test window like below, it means that the test demographics could not automatically link to the patient demographics.
In this case, proceed by clicking the Import test button.
4. The import test dialog will then appear showing unimported tests of the test type you had selected in step 2.
Select the test(s) for the current patient. Selecting more than one will put them into a ZIP file in Zedmed.
To select a range of tests, click on the first test, hold down the
SHIFT
key, and then click on the last test in the range.Be careful not to import tests for the wrong patient! Only select tests for the current patient open in BP.
If the patient name or DOB matches the current patient, those tests will appear at the top of this list.
5. This warning may appear if the test(s) you're importing have different demographics to the current patient open in Zedmed Clinical.
This could result in the import of test data into the wrong patient's file.
6. The test(s) will then be imported into the current patient file in Zedmed Clinical.
When the full list is done, if you still have LEMR Server open, click the Refresh button to ensure the list is now empty. If not, repeat the steps above.
