Error Starting Resting ECG - EcgAlg.dll Matlab Problem

Problem

When running Norav PC-ECG version 5.97 or above, an error may appear when attempting to open the PC-ECG application. Earlier versions of PC-ECG will show an error in the event log shortly after attempting to run the application.

Solution

To solve the error, Matlab must be added to the system's environment variables:

1. Click on the Start menu then type System and open the System control panel app

2. Click on the Advanced System Settings link

3. Click on the Advanced tab then click on Environment Variables…

4. Under the System variables section, click on Path then click on the Edit button

5. If not already in the list, click New then add the following line and click OK three times

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Norav Shared\Matlab\runtime\win32

Norav PC-ECG 1200 Resting ECG should now open correctly.
